FAQ

1.     How many people does your chapel hold?

    Answer: Inside we seat up to 100 guests (standing for about 25 more) and for an outdoor ceremony is a max of 50 guests (no standing room available)


2.     Do you have open hours for walk-ins?

    Answer: No, a scheduled appointment is needed for everyone.


3.     Do you provide the marriage license?

     Answer: No, we do not provide the marriage license, that is something the couple must obtain through the county they live in (except for out of state couples, they apply through Macomb if getting married at the chapel)


4.     How do I obtain my certified marriage license?

    Answer: Through the county you obtained your original marriage license that you signed the day of your wedding. It takes two weeks to process through the county and state after your wedding for it to be ready for pick up or order online through them.


5.     What time I can arrive the day of my wedding?

    Answer: 10 minutes before your contract time begins is the soonest anyone from your party is able to enter the building


6.     Do you allow the flower girl to throw pedals?

     Answer: Only artificial pedals.


7.     Do you allow runners?

     Answer: we no longer allow runners.


8.     Can I add guests to the smaller packages and still keep that package?

    Answer: no, if you end up having more than the allowed number of guests for that package you will be upgraded to the next package you need for the number of guests you have.


9.     What is your deposit amount?

     Answer: For our four largest packages we require a 50% deposit amount in order to book and for the three smallest package we require full payment in order to book.


10. When is final payment due?

    Answer: no later than 30 days before your wedding date


11. How can I make my final payment?

     Answer: You can make your final payment one of three ways: over the phone, a scheduled in person appointment or by using a credit card authorization form you used when booking with us.


12. Do you allow food?

     Answer: No food is allowed in the chapel


13. Who is allowed to get dressed at the chapel?

     Only the bride can get dressed at the chapel in the bridal suite when booked with one of the four largest packages. Everyone else must arrive 100% ready.

    With any other package everyone (even the bride) must arrive on time and ready to begin.


14. Do you allow pets?

     Answer: Only service dogs are allowed.


15. Do you have extra parking?

     Answer: We have a second parking lot located behind our building you can access from Burberry Dr. on the west side of our property. There is a sidewalk from the lot to being you back up to the building to enter.


16. How many people can I have in my bridal party?

     Answer: Due to the amount of spacing up at the altar area we strongly suggest no more than 7 adults on each side of the bridal party. (for the love in the afternoon package due to timing no more than 4 on each side)


17. What time should I put on my invitations?

     Answer: We recommend telling your guests the seating time of your pre ceremony time. DO NOT LIE! If you lie you could cause your guests to show up at another couple’s wedding. We also will not allow your guests in before your contract time begins to keep everything fair for each couple’s contract.


18. Does my package come with a rehearsal?

     The four largest packages we offer include a rehearsal. Rehearsal is a max of 45 minutes on a separate date before the wedding.


19. When is rehearsal?

     Answer: Rehearsal is conducted within the week or the week before your wedding. We conduct rehearsals Tuesdays-Thursdays.


20. Do you provide a minister?

     Answer: all of our packages provide a minister. If you choose to bring in your own you can only do that with our four largest packages and the cost is $75.00.


21. Do you perform outdoor ceremonies?

     Answer: Yes, we do but only between Memorial Day and Labor Day and only has space for 50 people.
